Cladding overlay is a welding process that metal with high performance of anti corrosion, wear resistance property is cladded on the base metal. A classic example is to clad stainless steel or Nickel based alloy on the carbon steel which shall be anti corrosion while cost reduces significantly comparing to pure stainless steel or Nickel based alloy.
liner pipe is produced by using the corrosion-resistant alloy of stainless steel, titanium alloy, copper, aluminum, etc. The characteristic is that the layer between pipes is combined closely, and these two metal pipes will be bending simultaneously if they were impacted by outside force.

For clad pipes, the layer of Corrosion Resistant Alloy (CRA) is applied using different procedures that create a metallurgical bond, while the lined pipe is applied through a mechanical bond between the CRA and the C-Mn pipe.
Once clad, our pipes (as required) undergo full hydrostatic testing to prove product integrity. Our test facility is capable to handle pressures up to 1400Bar (20,000 psi). Cladtek CRA pipe is also extensively Non Destructively Examined. This can include EC, UT, RT, dye penetrant testing, and visual and laser scanning. Much of our inspection is automated using innovative technologies to enhance reliability and optimise performance.
